Over the past two decades, the Nigeria Customs Service has undergone significant reforms aimed at modernizing its operations. From digitizing cargo inspections to improving enforcement strategies, the service continues to play a crucial role in safeguarding the nation's borders while facilitating legitimate trade.

In my tenure, we focused on integrating technology, enhancing staff training, and fostering international collaborations. These measures helped reduce contraband, increase revenue, and ensure smoother operations at major ports.
